Benet Simon and Mike Mindel met during Freshers Week in the mid-nineties.
Each immediately saw that the other possessed brilliant skills that they sorely lacked, and a great friendship was founded in their mutual jealousy.
Together, they’re about to make a lot of money.
We are student community and we are creating community editions of short video stories. Our goal is to stimulate “community creativity” to make up for the details of a story. The basic idea is that we start with a general story framework, shoot a video and the community can fill in the “spicy gaps” for the community edition (e.g. visual and sound effects, smal, funny detail actions actors should undertake).
If this sounds interesting, check out http://www.metacafe.com/watch/708663/lovecake/ as our first attempt.
As you (hopefully) can see, we have good intentions and a serious desire to make fine pieces of art, but we lack professional expertise in this area. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are interested in our project.

I’m currently under consruction so Ill check back and see if you reply. I enjoyed reading your tips and have had some good experience with writing short stories and am trying to expand a little. How do you keep tract and how do you keep from going off on a tangent? My mind simply flies with possibilities.
You have written a very good (and beautiful) example of what I perceive Ed Dale to be telling us. Thanks for sharing and I have Stumbled and tagged it with deli.cio.us too.
Your site is both informative and interesting – a true inspiration. Thankyou!
